ATD emolda has been manufacturing components and sub-assemblies at its facility in Dunboyne, Co. Meath for almost 40 years. Our materials and products can be found in cars, aeroplanes, mobile devices and more recently in pharmaceutical delivery and medical devices. Our focus today is on the development of the Abderma range of materials for advanced wound care applications. These hydrophilic foams and range of on-the-body adhesives developed and manufactured by ATD emolda are truly next generation with class leading fluid handling, breathability and performance. Most recently we are utilising the foam as a drug delivery system to provide slow release of a drug or API over a prolonged period of time.
