Industrial Access Systems & Walkways

For over 25 years O'Carroll Engineering has been a leading supplier of industrial access systems and walkways to one of the world's foremost ship-to-shore container crane manufacturers - Liebherr Container Cranes. Off-site manufactured products are finished to the highest standard. The process begins by taking digital client information and merging it into our systems. Files are then sent to our cutting machines (which include 2 x 3-d laser cutting machines) to produce extremely accurate, high-volume and tailored product kits. These kits are then assembled by a highly skilled workforce and shipped directly to port where they are fitted to the cranes before being shipped to ports worldwide. No trail fit, zero defects.

OCE Modular Balconies - Homeland Deansgrange

O'Carroll Engineering is delighted to have contributed to this superb Homeland Group project in Deansgrange, Blackrock. 90 balconies, two distinct styles and designed to maximise client on-site efficiencies. Our custom anchor & stub system was incorporated within the off-site manufactured precast walls and combined with our ‘Open-Support’ style balcony to ensure the most efficient build possible. This style of balcony can be finished with an open-soffit which is free draining or a closed-soffit with controlled drainage. Railings were either laminated toughened glass or vertical galvanised mild steel and the balconies were finished with a class B fire-rated composite decking.
