Our dedicated air mobility zone includes a vertiport, drone testing corridors, and U-space air traffic management capabilities, allowing for the safe and seamless development of next-generation air transport solutions.
- Smart Cities: FMCI's Smart City infrastructure spans 12 km of open roads in the Shannon Free Zone. This network supports the integration of IoT systems, data analytics, and sustainable infrastructure to create more connected and efficient urban environments.
- Transport Infrastructure: The comprehensive mobility testbed at Future Mobility Campus Ireland includes a real-world environment for testing mobility innovations. The Smart City road network, private proving ground, retrofitted test vehicles, drone port, and cutting-edge simulation and digital twin technology at FMCI facilitate the validation and advancement of future mobility solutions in autonomous driving, micro-mobility, smart cities, V2X communications, and more.
